Molykote P-37 is an extremely pure bolt paste consisting of mineral oil and special solid lubricants. It provides high load-carrying capacity and anti-seize protection; it allows bolts to be easily loosened even after long operation at high temperature and contains no components that embrittle at high temperature.

  • Applications: Bolts, nuts and studs made of heat-resistant and nickel-based alloy steels; bolted connections of gas and steam turbines in power plants.
  • Features: Sulphur content below 250 ppm, total halogen content below 200 ppm; low bleeding allows use where cleanliness is required. Must not be mixed with other lubricants.
  • Specifications: Meets the technical requirements of Siemens TLV 9600 02/01, General Electric TIL 1117-3RI, EDF-PMUC and Pratt & Whitney PWA-36246.
  • Typical properties: Service temperature -30 °C / +1400 °C (temperature resistance of the solid lubricant), density 1.21 g/cm³, four-ball weld load 5,500 N.
