Molykote HSC Plus is a mineral oil-based anti-seize paste containing copper, molybdenum disulphide and white solid lubricants. On metal-to-metal contacts exposed to high temperature and friction, especially bolted connections, it allows the connection to be dismantled without damage even after long periods at high temperature.

  • Applications: Stud bolts of gas and steam turbines, turbocharger studs in diesel engines, flange connections in chemical and petrochemical plants; contact lubricant for electrically conductive parts.
  • Features: High load-carrying capacity, a coefficient of friction that provides defined preload forces, good corrosion protection and electrical conductivity; free of lead, nickel and intentionally added PTFE/PFAS.
  • Typical properties: Service temperature -30 °C / +1100 °C, density 1.4 g/ml at 20 °C, copper colour.
