Molykote BG 20 EW AW Lithium Grease

Molykote BG-20 is a synthetic bearing grease based on polyol ester with a lithium complex thickener, containing EW/AW (extreme wear/anti-wear) additives and an oxidation inhibitor. Thanks to low oil evaporation and low tendency to oxidise, it is suitable for long-term lubrication; it offers high load-carrying capacity and contains no lead or nickel.

• Applications: Lubrication points under medium to heavy loads and high to very high speeds, especially those also exposed to high temperatures: clutch release bearings, fan/blower and calender roll bearings, electric motor bearings. Can be applied via centralised lubrication systems.
• Features: Wide operating temperature range, suitability for very high speeds (DN 750,000), long lubrication life.
• Typical properties: NLGI 2-3; operating temperature -45 °C / +180 °C (200 °C short-term), base oil viscosity 55 mm²/s at 40 °C, dropping point >295 °C.
