Molykote 1000 is a mineral oil-based, lead- and nickel-free bolt (anti-seize) paste containing copper, graphite and white solid lubricants. It reduces wear and optimises friction on threaded fasteners; it allows the connection to be dismantled without damage even after long periods at high temperature.

  • Applications: Bolted connections exposed to high temperature or corrosive conditions that must later be retightened or dismantled: cylinder head bolts, nozzle head screws on plastic injection moulding machines, bolted connections in the chemical industry, centrifuge clamping rings.
  • Features: High load-carrying capacity, stable friction over repeated tightening and loosening, good corrosion protection; free of intentionally added PTFE/PFAS.
  • Typical properties: Service temperature -30 °C / +650 °C, NLGI 1-2, brown.
