Molykote TP-42 is a light beige grease paste consisting of synthetic and mineral oil, lithium soap and white solid lubricants. It adheres well to surfaces and resists washout by water and metalworking emulsions; it prevents wear, seizure and corrosion at heavily loaded points.

  • Applications: Chucks and clamping elements on machine tools, heavily loaded sliding surfaces, metalworking machines, yaw and pitch bearings in wind turbines.
  • Features: High load-carrying capacity, strong corrosion protection, adhesion against run-off, stick-slip prevention.
